CEREMONIES
Your wedding day is one of the most important events in your lifetime. You
want every element to be perfect. The ceremony I write for you will provide an intimate experience of who you are and
what you believe in, as you publicly declare your commitment and love to one another.
I take the time to get to know you, and your ceremony will reflect that. Things you tell me about your relationship and what you love and admire about each other can be woven into the ceremony. If you are creating a blended family, I can write a part of the ceremony for the children, making sure they understand how important they are in the new family you are creating. Some people even have pets they want to include in the festivities.
YOUR CEREMONY WILL:
- Be heartfelt, elegant, beautiful, and expressive;
- Embrace your beliefs, vision, faith, and commitments to
each other;
- Reflect your respective family traditions, while honoring
the new traditions you wish to create together;
- Be personal, intimate and unique, with just the right touch
of lightness and humor;
- Be as unconventional or traditional as you are.
FEES
My fees are predicated on a high level of personal service. I am always
available to talk to couples I work with about anything they need, even matters unrelated to the ceremony. I never book more than one wedding
on any day so, if your ceremony runs a little late, you won't have to worry about your Officiant rushing off. Although I have a basic and a premium package, there are other fees available for simpler ceremonies. Please ask about that when you call.
Please note: in recognition of these challenging economic times, and in an effort to make my services more affordable to more couples, I have lowered my fees.
My basic package is $425 (regularly $475) and includes the following:
- initial meeting and planning session, either in person or by phone
(there is no charge for this if you decide not to hire me)
- providing wedding questionnaire and reviewing your personal information
- writing a custom-designed ceremony, including two rewrites
- performing your wedding ceremony
- signing and filing your marriage license
- a copy of your ceremony as a keepsake
My premium package is $550 (regularly $600) and includes all the above, plus:
- attending and/or conducting your rehearsal
- one session of relationship counseling
A nominal mileage charge will be added for out of area weddings.
